Salary: $79,040.00 - $89,440.00 (DOE) + Full Benefits

Mekong Community Center (MCC) is a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving Santa Clara County for 36 years. Founded in 1989, MCC provides culturally responsive mental health and wellness services to Southeast Asian, AAPI, and immigrant communities. Our programs include adult and older adult outpatient care, prevention and early intervention, and wellness support tailored to the unique needs of diverse populations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Associate Social Worker (ASW) to join our team full-time. The ASW will provide direct services to individuals and families, including case management, therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy. This role is ideal for someone working toward clinical licensure and passionate about making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy under supervision.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Advocate for clients within healthcare, legal, housing, and educational systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and legal standards.
• Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (or applicable state board).
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual skills (e.g. Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese) are a plus.
• Commitment to ethical practice and cultural humility.
