Job Description

Thank you so much for your interest! This role is a contract to hire local to Downtown Indy (dtown Indy will be the 'home base' location and you essentially support the local area). Mileage can be expensed, but your own car is required.

Title : Sr AV Tech

Location : Indianapolis, IN 46202

Duration : 3-6mo contract to hire

Compensation : $70-85k/yr approx. ($33-40/hr approx.)

Interview Process : 2 rounds

Start Date : ASAP (roughly early to mid Feb 2026)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Audio Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of A/V engineering experience in large-scale or healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Yealink/Cisco platforms, and Crestron/Extron systems.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • CTS, CTS-I, or equivalent preferred
  • Healthcare Background

Job Description

Design and implement A/V solutions that align with architectural and operational standards. Configure and optimize Teams Rooms, DSPs, control systems, cameras, and associated peripherals. Maintain accurate asset inventories, configuration records, and change management documentation. Drive root cause analysis for complex issues and deliver advanced troubleshooting support. Provide mentorship to engineers and technicians to strengthen internal expertise and cross-functional capabilities. Collaborate with architects and business analysts to validate designs against performance metrics and user experience feedback. Work closely with IT and Networking teams to ensure A/V systems comply with security, bandwidth, and QoS requirements. Support lifecycle management, including refresh planning and firmware updates.
