As an Associate Governmental Program Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide DTSC management background information on projects and facilities with recommendations on how to proceed after completing in-depth analysis of DTSC space needs; develop and recommend options based on DTSCs Strategic Facilities Plan and carries out staff relocation and space acquisition decisions made by management
  • Independently work with the program staff and the Regional Administrative Managers (RAMs) to determine space needs in compliance with Department of General Services (DGS) Real Estate Services Division (RESD) policies and procedures and the State Administrative Manual
  • Prepare specifications for space and analyze the space justification logic by reviewing staffing levels and/or other pertinent documentation
  • Prepare initial cost estimates and confers with DTSC management for approval to proceed
  • Formulate department-wide vehicle management policies (e.g., policy on use of sampling vehicles; accident reporting; etc.) and operational standards (e.g., average mileage per vehicle to warrant retention, replacement or elimination from fleet) related to State vehicle operations
  • Research and identify departmental needs and establishes priorities for the procurement, replacement or leasing of state vehicles for DTSC

  • Project management and milestone tracking of deliverables/progress experience
  • Analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
  • Experience with purchasing and budgeting
  • Experience with training and delivering customer support
  • Technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, knowledge of TabFusion a plus)
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and challenging situations
