This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of the beauty industry’s unique challenges and trends. You will be responsible for creating digital graphics for websites, social media, and email marketing, with an emphasis on innovation and fresh perspectives.

Brand Innovation:

  • Work within established brand guidelines while bringing new, creative ideas to the table.

Collaboration & Execution:

  • Work closely with team members, including marketers, copywriters, and other designers, to execute cohesive campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
  • Provide input and feedback on creative projects to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Occasionally assist with print design projects, though these will be rare (e.g., designing a print insert).

Qualifications:

Industry Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of graphic design experience, specifically within the beauty industry.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing digital design work, with a focus on beauty brands and products.

Digital Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), as well as other design tools relevant to digital content creation.
  • Experience creating GIFs, motion graphics, and other digital animations.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and the specific design requirements for web, social media, and email marketing.

Creative Vision:

  • Ability to work within brand guidelines while introducing new, innovative design ideas.
  • Keen eye for detail, color, and typography, with a passion for creating visually stunning designs.
  • Up-to-date with current design and beauty industry trends, with a clear understanding of how to keep content fresh and engaging.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude, with a passion for staying ahead of trends and continuously improving design processes.
