Maintenance Technician - $25-$36/hr DOE!

This position is a direct hire opportunity!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our foundry client to start immediately at $25-$36/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Under general direction, performs entry- to mid-level diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance in compliance with diagrams, schematics, manufacturer guidelines, and management requirements on both mechanical and electrical foundry equipment. Supports facility maintenance tasks at a basic level, which may include building upkeep, grounds maintenance, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems. Work is typically carried out under the guidance of a senior technician or supervisor.

  • Carries out both self-directed and assigned maintenance activities, including troubleshooting equipment to identify root causes of malfunction; disassembling machinery to remove and replace defective parts; inspecting worn components for defects; making adjustments to equipment controls and functions; testing components, circuits, and systems for proper performance; and restoring machinery to operational condition. Performs minor fabrication including welding. Orders materials and replacement parts as needed.
  • Troubleshoots and analyzes equipment failures. Collaborates with the plant engineer as a proactive maintenance resource. Installs wiring, assembles, and repairs electrical panels or equipment in compliance with NFPA/NEC standards.
  • Performs general facility upkeep, which may include tasks in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC disciplines to maintain building interiors, exteriors, and grounds.
  • Provides support to machine operators and production staff to ensure reliable equipment performance and production efficiency.
  • May set up and operate multiple machining processes such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, welding power units, and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts and equipment.

Location: Pewaukee, WI

Schedule/Shift Details: 3rd shift: 8PM-6:15AM Monday-Thursday

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift.
  • Overtime on Friday nights as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School, GED or equivalent education with 5+ year’s maintenance experience or Technical Degree in maintenance related field
  • Experience in foundry environment most desired. Otherwise, heavy industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as installation manuals, operating instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely by observing policies and procedures in an industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in manufacturing settings
  • Skilled in preventative and corrective maintenance within a fast-paced production environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, hydraulic and piping diagrams
  • Metal fabrication abilities including MIG/TIG welding, arc gouging, and cutting methods
  • Capability to research and interpret parts, prints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • PLC troubleshooting skills with programming familiarity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Background in facility repair and maintenance such as HVAC, welding, cutting, and pipe fitting
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Skilled in precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and indicators
  • Proficient in the use of shop equipment: drill presses, sanders, grinders, mills, lathes, welding machines, cranes, and forklifts
  • Knowledge of industrial air compressor systems and distribution networks
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license
