We’re launching a high-potential food manufacturing plant in Wakarusa, IN and are looking for an elite, hands-on operator to take full ownership of the plant launch phase.
This is not a desk job.
This is not a coordination-only role.
This role is for someone who has personally commissioned lines, fixed equipment, stabilized production, and made hard calls that determine whether a plant succeeds or struggles.
What You’ll Own
* Hands-on setup, commissioning, and stabilization of food production lines (including a chip line)
* Direct operation, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment
* Maintenance and reliability decision-making — repair vs. upgrade vs. replace vs. third-party support
* Design and implementation of SOPs, production routines, and daily operating cadence for a lean team (~7 people)
* Primary on-site operational authority during launch, working directly with the CEO
* Clear documentation and a structured handoff to internal leadership once the plant is running reliably and predictably
What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years in food manufacturing (CPG strongly preferred)
* Proven experience launching, restarting, or stabilizing plants or production lines
* Deep hands-on equipment experience (not office-only oversight)
* Strong judgment around maintenance, reliability, throughput, and cost tradeoffs
* Comfortable leading and working within small, lean teams
* Available to work on-site in Wakarusa, IN for 2–3 months
