Location: Rialto, CA 92376

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM – 5:00/5:30 PM

Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

Interview Format: In‑Person

Travel: Not required

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to support daily clinical operations and ensure high‑quality patient care. This role is essential in helping providers deliver efficient, patient‑centered services in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Patient Care

• Oversee and participate in daily clinical care activities.
• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, and medication review.
• Assist providers with minor surgeries, invasive procedures, and clinical treatments such as injections and ear lavage.
• Maintain exam rooms, clinical logs, temperature logs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Care Coordination & Administrative Duties

• Coordinate patient care according to physician instructions and organizational protocols.
• Submit electronic referrals for additional services.
• Enroll and respond to electronic patient messages through the patient portal.
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations following established guidelines.
• Make and receive patient calls, providing timely and accurate information.
• Schedule patient appointments when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
• Current BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• 1+ years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA).
• Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or a Specialty clinic .
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO, and Medicare processes.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).

Work Environment

• Standard onsite clinical environment.
• No home visits and no rotation to multiple clinic locations.
• Collaborative team setting focused on patient care and operational excellence.
