Job Description

Faith Studios is seeking positive, reliable, and passionate Musical Theatre Instructors to join our team! As Part Time as Needed instructor, you will travel to facilities in your local city (and nearby cities if available) to teach musical theatre classes to young children when those facilities are in need of a teacher. We are dedicated to bringing the joy of musical theatre to children in a positive, fun, and supportive environment. We partner with schools, preschools, and community centers to provide inspiring musical theatre classes for young children!

Duties

• Introduce basic elements of singing, dancing, and acting in age-appropriate ways. Ages can range from 12 months to 6 years old.
• Travel to designated facilities in your local or nearby area to lead classes.
• Create a safe, encouraging, and positive classroom environment.
• Communicate with director and staff at each facility to ensure smooth class experiences.
• Represent Faith Studios with professionalism, positivity, and passion for the arts.

Experience

• Experience in theatre, musical theatre, dance, or related performing arts.
• Prior experience teaching or working with children (ages 2–6 preferred).
• Must be positive, enthusiastic, and patient with young learners.
• Reliable transportation to travel between facilities.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of different groups of children.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting; familiarity with early childhood education is a plus.
• Background in special needs education or behavior management techniques is a plus but not required.
