Job Description

A New York City-based services company is seeking a new Oracle HCM Cloud Developer to join their growing IT Shared Services Build team. In this role, the Oracle HCM Cloud Developer will be responsible for supporting enterprise HR platforms including Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite 3 days per week in Midtown Manhattan, NY.***

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support applications across frontend, backend, database, and DevOps layers
• Lead application design, coding, and architecture using SDLC best practices
• Write programming specifications and contribute to system design for small to medium enhancements
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Build and support Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS solutions, including BI Publisher Reports; HCM Extracts; Fast Formulas; REST-based integrations; etc.
• Troubleshoot complex business logic and integrations across cloud and legacy platforms
• Support enterprise SaaS applications such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, PeopleSoft HCM, and Oracle EBS
• Partner with Internal Engineers, Vendors, and System Integrators across application and infrastructure layers
• Oversee consultants, developers, testers, and SI resources
• Manage incidents through triage, resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
• Translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders
• Collaborate with vendors to align solutions with business and IT objectives
• Recommend application and design improvements based on changing business and technology needs

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience (depending on education / degree)
• High School Diploma / GED
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
• Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, or
• High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL (or Microsoft T-SQL)
• Experience with Full-stack application development
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations
• Experience with Oracle HCM tools (BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas)
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or cloud-based applications

Desired Skills:

• Experience with End-to-End Product Delivery
• Experience with Automated Testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Project Management and/or Business Analysis
