Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Central Austin, TX (NEAR UT) for a Medical Office Specialist. The Medical Office Specialist will be responsible for managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, understanding and utilizing medical terminology, verifying insurance, and providing administrative assistance. The role requires someone who can ensure efficient office operations and deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Phone Etiquette and Appointment Scheduling skills
• Understanding of Medical Terminology
• Experience with Insurance Verification
• Administrative Assistance skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical office training or certification is beneficial
