Job Title: Product Line Manager

Reports to: Director of Product Management
Position Summary:
The Product Line Manager will be responsible for executing G-Form’s product strategy, leading line architecture, briefing design and development teams, and managing the product creation process from concept to consumer. This role also leads the Go-To-Market calendar across multiple categories and ensures smooth cross-departmental collaboration. This is a strategic and highly hands-on role. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative-able to manage their workload independently and support a fast-paced, growing business. This role will work closely alongside the Design and Product Development team.
Essential Functions/Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape including features/benefits and pricing to inform and evolve category & product line strategy.
2. Define and own multiple product roadmaps, seasonal direction, and long-term product planning.
3. Ensure company target product margins are met across own-brand, strategic partner brands and licensees.
4. Ensure clear, proactive communication between Sales, Operations, Marketing, Manufacturing, and other departments on all product matters.
5. Collaborate with domestic and international vendors to manage development timelines, material sourcing/testing, and cost targets.
6. Help to support product development processes including reviewing materials, tech packs, prototypes, and sample requests.
7. Manage the tracking and coordination of testing samples, certification test results, and compliance documentation to meet required performance standards.
8. Create and deliver compelling presentations for internal and external audiences including sales meetings, customer previews, and line reviews.
9. Represent the Product team in meetings with key retailers, senior management team and strategic partners, capturing and relaying concise, actionable notes and next steps.
10. Maintain an organized and efficient sample management system including archiving and filing product samples and documentation.
11. Integrate into Product team as a supporting and contributing member aligned to meet product goals for best customer experience.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in product design, merchandising, business, or marketing).
• MBA is a plus but not required.
• 5-10 years of experience in product management and/or product development, preferably in the sporting goods or apparel industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation development and delivery capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
• Experience in product lifecycle management, line planning, and cross-functional communication.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This role operates primarily in an office environment with standard office equipment. Occasional lifting and organizing of product samples (up to 25 lbs.) is required.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time. Standard office hours are 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Some flexibility is allowed. This is on onsite position. In office Monday-Thursday and optional remote day on Friday.
Travel:
Up to 20% travel for key partner meetings, trade shows, inspiration and development trips and industry events.
