Registered Nurse (School Nurse) – 2025–2026 School Year – In-Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a caring and skilled  Registered Nurse (RN) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an  in-person, full-time  position in a supportive school environment, working directly with students to ensure their health and well-being throughout the school day.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: In-person, High School
• Start Date: ASAP
• Role Type: 1:1 position
• Rate: Competitive, based on experience and licensure

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct health services to assigned student(s)
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor student health needs and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant health documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Active  Illinois RN license issued by the Department of Health
• School Service Personnel certificate with a School Nurse endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)  highly preferred
• School nurse experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in urgent situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
