Job Description

Dynamic Operations & Logistics Leader

Are you a results-driven leader ready to take full ownership of a high-performing warehouse, inventory, and logistics operation? We are seeking an energetic and experienced manager to drive excellence in safety, efficiency, and quality, directly impacting the company's profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Results Expected (Accountabilities)

  • Exceed performance targets for warehouse and inventory operations across quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), safety, efficiency, and overall profitability.
  • Cultivate an uncompromising safety culture to achieve a zero-incident environment.
  • Ensure flawless inventory control and reconciliation to maintain system accuracy and capacity planning.

Core Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate a team of warehousing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead all aspects of the talent lifecycle, including hiring, comprehensive training, succession planning , and performance management.
  • Conduct timely and honest performance reviews and address performance issues directly and effectively, while providing timely recognition for outstanding work.

Operations & Process Excellence

  • Direct all daily operations for warehousing, receiving, distribution, and logistics .
  • Enforce and audit operational policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (e.g., handling and shipping legislation).
  • Review and audit production standards (safety, quality, delivery, cost) and use root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve processes that are out of control.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement/LEAN initiatives directly on the shop floor to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Strategic Collaboration & Planning

  • Collaborate closely with Production Planning and Customer Service to optimize the production schedule based on equipment and manpower, ensuring complete and on-time order fulfillment.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
  • Provide direction and support to cross-functional teams, including QC, Production Supervisors, and Maintenance, to meet day-to-day requirements.
  • Manage equipment evaluations and necessary repair direction to maximize operational uptime .

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of a 2-year degree in business or related field, or 5 years of proven experience in a comparable operations leadership role.
  • Demonstrated Transformational Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop effective teams through change.
  • A Floor-Focused Leadership Style – you are visible, engaged, and lead by example in the production environment.
  • Expert problem-solver capable of independent troubleshooting and exercising sound professional judgment.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and cross-functionally.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Highly organized with the ability to direct the work of others and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
